Error 1309 on ford ranger?
P1309 FORD - Misfire Detection Monitor Not enabled
Is the code it provides but I'm not sure if that s something we can fix at home or if it HAS to go to a shop. Also if anyone has an idea of pricing on fixing something like that?
Replacing the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) usually takes care of the problem, but if the sensor is installed out of synchronization it will produce the P1309 code. If the CMP is installed properly, REPLACE Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
- Would a long travel suspension kit built for a Ford Ranger Edge/Sport also fit on a Ranger XLT? I found a long travel suspension kit made for a 2002 ranger edge/sport but I have a XLT same year. Would it still fit on and function the same?
- Will a 1993 3.0 Ford Ranger engine fit and work with my 1995 Ford ranger that has a bad motor? My 1995 ford ranger 3.0 5 speed ran hot and cracked the heads and spun a bearing. Will a 3.0 out of a 1993 Ford Ranger fit and work? My concerns are the 1993 has a distributor and my 1995 does not. Are the water pumps and accessories the same?
- What would be better for me? Ford Ranger or Ford F-150? I'm 15 and I can get my permit in a week. I know its earl but I've been looking on Craigslist for 4x4 trucks just to get an idea. All I would use it for is to go from school to work to home, haul my dirt bike or four-wheeler to my friends house once in awhile. I'm putting my price limit at $4000 dollars.
- Ford ranger owners: how fast does a 4.0 v6 ranger go from 0-60? It's a 2007 ford ranger with a 4.0v6 Manual. Some people say they do 0-60 in 9 sec. Are they really THAT slow?
