Auto help needed 2006 Ford ranger with a 4.0 and automatic transmission?

OK it will not start but it will crank and crank. The CEL (check engine light) is not on and no codes it has a new coil pack, new spark plug wires, new spark plugs and a new crank position sensor. It it's getting good spark and good fuel but will not fire up at all. Fuses and relays are all good. Anyone got any good ideas please help.

To run it needs fuel, air compression and spark at the right time. Your timing might be off.
And do a compression test.

Take your foot and hold the throttle all the way down and start it

The spark needs to be the correct time.
Fuel has to be injected in the correct quantity at the correct time
The correct quantity of air has to be available to be sucked into the engine

Check what is not correct of these things and rectify and it will go.

These engines have known problems with the timing chains. The timing chain system is very complex with a chain to each side, one in the rear of the engine, a jack shaft with a chain to the crank, and a balancer set up on the right side of the engine. I suspect a chain is off time or broken causing your problem. If so, sorry to say, is an expensive repair requiring special tools and a experienced mechanic to fix

Do you have a KILL SWITCH on the car, maybe in your alarm system?
