Will a 2006 taurus auto transmission fit a 2004 ford taurus?
I have a 2004 ford taurus with an auto transmission. At first it was jumping out of overdrive, now it won't go in to overdrive and it slips.
Yes, it should, BUT if you pull a trans out of a junked car, there's no guarantee that it will be in any better condition. It might be cheaper and less complicated to just have the transmission you now have serviced by a competent transmission shop.
- What Ford Taurus bumpers (front or rear) would fit a 2003 ford Taurus ses? Looking around and seen someone with a 2004 front bumper on a 2003. Looks nice but curious if any other bumpers would fit? I installed new centennial edition headlights with Silver Star Ultra lights. here's what it looks like so far.
- What does it mean when it says auto transmission engauges in idle? Well I was looking at an Ford Taurus and under the description it says auto / engauges in idle if anyone knows what that means please inform me
- Auto help needed 2006 Ford ranger with a 4.0 and automatic transmission? OK it will not start but it will crank and crank. The CEL (check engine light) is not on and no codes it has a new coil pack, new spark plug wires, new spark plugs and a new crank position sensor. It it's getting good spark and good fuel but will not fire up at all. Fuses and relays are all good. Anyone got any good ideas please help.
- How is the fluid from my radiator on my 1996 Ford Thunderbird mixing with my auto transmission fluid? I've asked and asked and no one seems to have an answer. Please any ideas would be helpful to give me some sort of clue as to where to start to get this fixed. The car still runs fine but its starting to effect the gears changing. Please any ideas would help.
