04 Ford ranger abs light on?

I have a 04 Ford ranger 4.0 4x4 my abs light keepes coming on and off I know its my left front wheel speed censor I have tried cleaning it but still comes on and off I have checked all connections and they are good I need to get it inspected and don't have the money for a new censor which is 97 bucks if I pull the fuse for the abs light will it go out so I can get it inspected until I can get the new censor

Pulling the fuse MAY cause the light to go out. It WILL cause you to FAIL a safety inspection.

They will, or should, check to see if the light comes on when the key is turned on. Maybe they will miss it.

You need to check all your brakes, as well as your brake fluid. Your brakes should be in tip-top condition before you replace the sensor. That includes your brake lines. The sensor may not even be broken. There may actually be a problem with your brakes.

Try pulling the one on the rear differentail its in the center 8mm socket i believe wipe any metal fragments off and go from there

Ford Triton V10 when heading up a hill sometimes the engine will cut out and the ABS light on the dash comes on and goes out. The engine continues to run and we get home just fine. Seems like power is getting cut off or something.

It's an 03 Ford Ranger edge 5 speed with a 3.0l.
