I'm in the process of converting my Ford e150 van to live out of it. I want to make it off grid and I will have all my electronics run off of solar. I was wondering what would be a good battery to use if I'm running a cooler fridge, small electronics like toaster oven, and maybe even run a small monitor and Xbox. To make a long story short I'm simply trying to find ways to better my church. There are things my church needs such as a new bus or van for picking people up for church being the major thing as well as help with paying our light and gas bill. Can I reach out to Nicor and ComEd and see if they will lower it discount our bill? As far as a van or bus, can I write a grant or propsal to see if we can have one donated maybe from Ford or even a used van or bus what would be the best way to go about doing this?
