Pros and Cons about owning Latest generation of Ford mustangs?
Hi everyone and to the car experts. I'm planning to buy a new Ford mustang, probably 2014 or 2015 model.
But i have interest of the 2015 model.
What are the pros and cons of owning one of them?
i mean in way of maintance, gas milage or etc?
You left out the most important part to the question which is, which model are you looking at getting? If you get the 5.0 liter v8 you are looking at very low gas mileage and probably higher cost in insurance and maintenance. If you get the V4 ecoboost, you are looking at very good mileage and low cost in insurance and maintenance. So these are two very different scenarios. The V6 of course stands in the middle in terms of maintenance, insurance, and gad mileage. In my honest opinion, I don't like the exterior design of the latest 2015 mustang, but the interior is fantastic. The 2014 model is good looking all around. So personally, the 5.0 v8 is very high in cost, gas, and maintenance but it's the true essence of the mustang. But the v4 ecoboost is a legendary technology that implements power as well as low cost.
- Pros and cons of upgrading alternator? I have a 99 ford crown Vic and it's about time to change my alternator. My last question about 2 weeks ago explains everything. But a stock alt for my car is 135 amps. I'm thinking of getting a 220 amp high output alternator to also support my stereo systems. There no other alternator just 135amp and 220amp. I'm just wondering will that produce too much power or no?
- Need help weighing the pros and cons of what kind of camper van to buy? So I plan on moving down to Nashville and living in a van in the very near future. I'm on the fence between 2. The first option is a 1988 Ford e350 diesel dually ambulance that has been fully converted. Running water, inverter, heat, ac. Pretty much everything in an rv besides a toilet. My second option is getting a cargo van and converting it or just getting one of those conversion Van's. I'm just not sure what my best bet is.
- Is it just me or do mustangs and ford V8s in general sound deeper and different? For example if I hear a v8 mustang down the road I can immediately identify it for what it is. Or if a ford truck was revving the engine and a Chevy or dodge was to I can pick out easily which one the ford is by its deep base sound. Anyone else notice this?
- I searched on cars.com and found Ford Mustangs with FWD, AWD and 2 wheel drive, are those ads fake? Seriously, there's listings on cars.com with Ford Mustangs and even camaros and challengers that was listed as having AWD or fwd or 2 wheel drive. This makes no sense to me because as Far as I know, these cars only come in RWD! So are these ads false or do these cars actually have the option of changing the drivetrain?
