My mustang is having some issues. Any thoughts?
The car only has 23k miles. Since i've had it i've noticed that when I accelerate from a complete stop sometimes I will hear a thump in the engine (maybe spark knock?) I'm also hearing an annoying ticking noise when I accelerate rather hard. As well during take off it will rev to almost 3k rpm before actually accelerating. So it hesitates to go. The ticking noise I believe is from valves but not surs. I took the car to ford and all they saw was a leaking seal at the rear pinion. They did not hear the noise ticking so i'm guessing they didn't check the valves or pistons. The invoice stated they checked for spark knock. Also my steering wheel is off center. What do these issues sound like to you. Any similar experiences?
I recommend taking your 'Stang to another Ford Dealer to seek a second opinion. Ask to speak to the service manager, and propose that he ride with you to hear the ticking noise. He is in the best position to look into your concern, and advise of the next steps.

- What are some good things to do to my 2007 Ford V6 Mustang to get some more power and performance? I want to get more power and better performance out of my V6 and no I don't want to trade up for a V8. I inherited this car and its paid off and only has 11,000 miles on it. Not to mention sentimental value so please leave your hate for V6s for someone else. I just want to know some cost effective ways to get more out of my stang. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
- Having issues on troubleshooting my wife's 2000 Ford Contour SE V6 2.5 DOHC? After driving for about 3-4 miles it starts to jerk and loose power. Almost as if someone is hitting you from the back. It's not throwing any codes or making the check engine light come on so that tells me it can't be major. I hope. I have changed the fuel filter, added Techron concentrated fuel treatment, changed the (CPS) camshaft position sensor, changed the oil and filter. I also replaced the air filter and cleaned the MAP sensor. What else can it be? Someone please help.
- I'm having issues with my 2012 ford focus heater? I'm running my heater for over 20 minutes on my way to school and by the end of my drive one of my 4 vents is blowing luke warm air, the other 3 are blowing cold like the A/C. In March or April i had my radiator replaced and my coolant was flushed. I read that the hot coolant is what heats up something to blow the hot air? Also read that when the coolant is flushed it may clog something up which stops it from blowing hot air.
