I'm looking at a boat motor that is labeled as a aqz240a it appears to be a ford 351 is it a windsor or clev?

Or a Cleveland. What will be needed to stick it into a65 mustang

The easiest way to tell is to look at the thermostat housing. The 351W will bolt to the intake manifold behind the timing cover. The 351C will bolt directly to the engine block.

It's a Ford 351 CID Windsor block that has been converted for marine use by Volvo Penta. There are some differences from the automotive model, here is the specs and manual for the aq240:

Careful Ford made a lot of there marine application engines spin the opposite direction, Better do some research, if it is a reverse spinner its worth bank to a boat person, if not its a boat anchor and not suitable for a 65 Mustang, and all where Windsor's

If is an OMC motor, is most likely a 351 windsor. We had one in a 19 foot boat and I think that was a common boat engine. There might be some additional makings /forge stamps that a real gear head might know. You might ask on mustang site. Also I think the windsors had a different timing cover type?
