How to make a ford mustang 1991 xl foxbody faster?
I wasn't into racing until i seen a real life drag race which made me want to fix my ford 1991 xl mustang & would love to know how to make it faster & sound nice when you turn it on & would aslo like to thank yall for helping me out
There's more ways to make a 5.0 faster than any other car out there. Superchargers, turbochargers, nitrous, aluminum blocks, strokers, engine swaps, you name it. And I assume you mean LX, not XL. I don't remember a mustang XL.
FYI, the LX fox body was the most desirable as they were the lightest of the fox body mustangs of any given body style, so they were faster.
It would also help to know what kind of budget you're working with… I could give you a $15,000 combination or a $1,500 one. Speed costs money… How fast do you want to go?

Buy a 5.0 performance book. They sell them. I could start explaining, but end result id forget to write things down, and you wouldnt understand it anyway. Also try ford message boards. The corral, mustangworks are some where the mods you end up doing were pioneered.

- Why is the 55 on the speedometer red in a 1993 ford Mustang foxbody? So my boy friend has a 1993 Ford Mustang Foxbody and on the speedometer the 55 is red and all of the other numbers are green!
