How much is a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe worth?

I'm looking to buy a 67 Mustang coupe and the description of the car is as follows:

"Nice 67 mustang coupe 302 V-8, automatic, power steering, (rebuilt),
The interior is very very good, engine overhauled, new dual exhaust, new brakes. Shocks, electric fan, CD.
Needs a new paint job or drive like it is."

It doesn't have the miles listed and no pictures of the backseat, but over all the car looks in good condition and is red in color (I can't see anything wrong with the paint, as it says it needs a paint job) and as far as I can tell there's no rust. The engine is a Cobra (it's pictured).
Could anyone help me to figure out what this car is worth so I know if I'm getting a good deal? KBB wouldn't let me do any car older than 1994.

I would definitely take someone with you that knows a lot about Mustangs of that era. Having owned a 67 in the past, I can tell you that the unibody frame was prone to rust to the point where the car would eventually sag in the middle making the doors unable to open or close. How do you know the engine is from a shelby? Because it says Cobra on the valve covers some hillbilly bought at Pep Boys? Maybe a sticker on the air cleaner? Without seeing it, it's value could range anywhere between $2000 and $20,000.

A daily driver '67, without any special options or service history? $8000 at the most, and that's for a matching-numbers car (which that one isn't). Keep in mind that even if it's lightly restored, it is still almost 50 years old, and that means the performance and safety technologies of 1967. Lap belts, no air bags, and your shoulders are the crumple zones if you get sideswiped in an accident.

I love old Mustangs, Chevelles, Jaguars and 911s, and would love to own one of any of them someday, but definitely not as a daily driver.

Call SOUTHERN MOTORS in Waterford Michigan They sell EVERY TYPE of 60's and 70's cars FULLY RESTORED and updated with ABS< DISKS and RACK AND PINION steering! They can tell you more! IF I was able to see the future, and was not vulnerable to MICHIGAN ROAD SALT< my original BOSS 302 Stang would be worth ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND or there abouts!

At least $30,000 is my guess. That is a classic car.

  • What fuel octane should I use for 1967 ford mustang? I'm wondering what octane I should use for my 1967 ford mustang. I've heard that the octane difference does nothing but I just want to know what you think because I really care about my car and don't care about the price difference.
  • Cost of insurance for 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe V8? I'm 16 and i just got my license. I have a job and i was looking for a car. My dad has a 1966 Ford Mustang V8 Coupe that he offered to give me and in mint condition. I was so happy. I was think of paying as much as i can of the insurance. Can you please tell me the price (estimate)? Don't feed me BS saying that shouldn't be your first car and all of that. Thats the only car I'm getting and the only car i want. All i need is the price and if its a good car.
  • Buying 1967 Ford mustang? I have been wanting to buy this 67 mustang for a while now. It's a project but it shouldn t be much work. I wanted to know whether to buy it or not. I'm turning 17 and have my lisense. The car has not ran in 2 years and did run then the body work is bad but I can fix it no problem. I live in Denver Colorado. Should I buy it. I have the money. But I'm not sure if it would be a good car as a first.
  • 2016 Honda Accord Coupe vs 2015 Ford Mustang V6? Which one would be better for a first car? I'm Under 25 so insurance may be a problem for the mustang, I plan to keep the car until I graduate college or a year before that. I also care about looks more than speed. Also I want to know which one is cheaper to maintain since I live in the USA.
