How much do you think that this car would cost?
A used 2005 Ford Mustang. Coupe, V6 engine… Around or under 100K miles. Used from a private party or a used dealer, either one. I'm 15 and have been babysitting to save for a car. I was just wanting to see about how much the car would be. (I don't care what color it is)

When you are on their site. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page.
There you will see the words USED CARS. And under that you will see " appraise your car "
Click on that and fill in the blanks as to the condition, miles, model, year, etc. You will see the amounts for dealer retail and private party sale. The Edmonds site is a good site to estimate the value of cars.
If the page doesn't come up the same for you. Just look all over the site to find the words " appraise your car " and click on it.
Go do it and come back and tell me you what learned. I already looked at the site so know what it says about the car you want to buy. I hope you go do it so you can learn to use the site yourself.
Blue book value is around $6k for good condition.
- Is it possible to get a new transmission for an older car, if so, how much would it cost? I'm looking at buying a 2003 Ford Taurus with 85,000 miles on it. No, there are no transmission problems. I'm just thinking that if it were done now, that could add a lot of life onto the vehicle. And it would make sense because my estimate is that a new transmission is less that what this car is worth. The car is 5K.
