$5000

You may be able to go to the edmunds.com site where they have a vehicle evaluator… Other options are online sites like ebay + Mustang clubs

Value is approx. $200. I'll give you $500, deal?

Hi so what ever modifications you might have done. They become in-material when fitted to such an old car.

Your car is worth whatever someone will give you for it. It's 50 years old. It sure ain't worth much, whatever you've done to it.

The issue is that wasn't restored to OEM condition, nor was it made into a restomod. If you're going to swap out the engine you might as well make it count. A 2 bbl 302 and 3 speed manual hurt the value. The 302 wasn't the original engine and weak sauce 2 bbl variant isn't very desirable, had you done an 4bbl setup with some GT-40X heads and a built T-5 backing it, it would be worth much more. Likewise if you had the original numbers-matching engine it would be worth more.

Basically what I'm saying is that if you're after resale value, and you chose not to restore it to factory specs, then you need to go whole hog in the other direction, and from the looks of things you didn't. Also if the seats are original, they are vinyl, leather was not a factory option.

Most of what you've listed, are simply repairs that you need to make anyway to be able to sell the vehicle as a driver. It's probably worth somewhere in the $7000-$8000 range. The stereo will be a turn off to some. If it had the original numbers-matching engine, and didn't have the subs (which I hope you didn't cut into anything to install, and are in boxes) then it would be worth closer to $12k (assuming it was a 289 car, and you repainted it in it's original color). Likewise if you had gone the pro-touring route, and had a modern suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, and a hopped up 302/347/351W/427W installed, it would also be worth over $15k

  • If I put lots of money in my car, does it increase its value? I bought my 2005 ford taurus for 2,800 USD. I have put brand new tires for $325, catalytic converter ($739 including labor), repainting and removing scratches ($1,700), shocks and struts ($752) new carpet ($359). New headlight assembly ($95). Does this raise the value of my car? Can I sell it for more than the kbb value?
  • How much money should I get for the diminished value on my car? So I just bought a 2014 ford mustang v6 premium. Had a 16 year old fender bender me 3 days after I bought it. It has 400 miles on it. The estimated damage on the car is $1,600. I'm wondering what kind of money the insurance company should give me for the diminished value on the car. The damage was to the rear bumper and taillight.
  • Can i ask the ford dealer to trade my car in on full value? I bought a Ford Mustang GT in mid March brand new, but i bought it automatic. I now realize that this was a huge mistake, and i want to get the same car in manual. The MSRP on the manual is about 2000 less than the automatic. I have put about 3000 miles on the car. Do you think they will give me full value for the car?
  • How much will the value of my car change after an accident? I rear ended someone, and my car is in the shop. I just got the estimate that there's $6,000 of damage mainly to the front end. The car itself is a ford focus (2014) and was purchased for around $15,000. Also, when I sell my car it is no longer 'clean' and it is 'rebuilt', correct? thanks! to clear up anymore confusion, I'm going through with the repairs, I wanted to know how much will the value change once its been completely repaired…
