Can i ask the ford dealer to trade my car in on full value?
I bought a Ford Mustang GT in mid March brand new, but i bought it automatic. I now realize that this was a huge mistake, and i want to get the same car in manual. The MSRP on the manual is about 2000 less than the automatic. I have put about 3000 miles on the car. Do you think they will give me full value for the car?

If you walked onto the dealer's lot and saw a used Mustang GT with 3000 miles on it and two months of warranty used up, would you want to pay the same price as a brand new one sitting next to it?
The dealer won't find anyone to buy your car at the brand new price, so why would they give you more than what they can sell it for?

For example, if I want to trade in a Ford F150 at a Mazda dealership to put towards a new Mazda vehicle, will the dealership give me an offer? Or would I have to go to a Ford dealer?
