Are 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs to small for me?
Now a 1979-1993 Ford Mustang is only 52 inches at hight. I'm am 6 feet and 1 inch (I'm a really big guy) is a FOXBODY Mustang (1979-1993) to small and low to the ground for a big guy (like me for instance)?
I'm your size and I owned a Cobra II that I recently sold. I was amazed to find out the Fox body was smaller and lighter than the Mustang II. I had to remove the driver's seat and drill new holes in the floor pan back about 2 inches and make spacers for the rear studs.
I'm 6'2" & have an '89 Fox body Mustang. I have moved the driver's seat back two inches to get more leg room, but I fit in the car.

- What is the switch on the bottom side of steering column on a 1979 Ford E250 Econline Van? My van will not shift into reverse or park and will not start. I have replaced the neutral safety switch, checked the shift cable and shift cylinder on the steering column. While doing that is see a sliding electrical switch on the bottom of the steering column which works in conjunction with the shift lever. What does this switch do?
- Should I buy a 1977-1979 or a newer model 2010+ Ford truck? I'm looking into getting another truck. For some reason my gut is telling me to get an older carbureted truck. Nothing beats the feeling of driving an old American 4x4 truck. But newer trucks are safer and get better mpg. Looking for some input on this decision.
