1999 Ford Mustang GT 8 cyclinder?
Someone's selling one for $4300 and the mileage on it is 95000. Does it sound worth it?
What is the written maintenance history? How about a mechanic to inspect all systems before purchase? Those are the main things to do when looking at a vehicle
Possibly, but the price seems a bit high.
Fair to good is about 2445 - 3368.
It all depends on the features and condition.
The asking price is reasonable. Assuming everything is good condition and it doesn't have any problems. The retail price (what dealer would ask for) is $5500. Trade in value is $3700. A private party price would be somewhere between the retail and trade in price. If the seller is asking $4300, then that's indeed a fair price, and if the car is in good shape the seller shouldn't have much trouble selling it for asking price or close to it.
- Which car is the overall to keep for a couple of yrs? 1999 Nissan maxima, 1999 Altima, 2006 ford Taurus or 2002 buick lesabre? All of them have low mileage as the Taurus have 69000 and the maxima have the highest of 123000. They all under 1100 bucks.
- Cyclinder 6 Misfire - After coolant line bursted? My 2006 ford Taurus had one of the coolant lines bust, which i have since replaced. When the coolant line busted, the car did not overheat, but began misfiring. Cylinder 1,2,3 were misfiring at random intervals, so I replaced the coil pack. Those cylinders are now not misfiring, however, cylinder 6 is. I have replaced all the spark plugs, and still this one cylinder is misfiring. What else could it be? What is the worst case scenereo?

- I have a 1999 Ford Mustang GT and its sluggish when taking off? What could be the issue? Its sluggish on power usually only happens in the first 3 gears between 1800 and 2000 rpms. And also when I give it gas at idle it stays at 2000 rpm before idling down. 178k miles. Just changed a faulty o2 sensor. So what else could possibly making it do this. Probably plugs and coil on plugs need to be changed? If any advice it would greatly help thanks
