Okay i live in west virginia and 3 weeks ago i got a used car at a ford dealership in virginia and of course they sent info for a new registration to be registered in west virginia and tags and everything else well a week ago i got my west virginia car registration in the mail but haven't got my license plate yet and i only have 5 days until my temp tag is expired will i receive my new tag in mail also? Or do i have to goto dmv and get it this is first time buying from dealership and out of state and on registration they have my tag number on it as well

First time registration should be done directly at the DMV, to get your plates, etc. Your registration stickers should refer to the plate number that is supplied to be applied to. If you read the information in your registration, it should state what to do for your plates. They may be coming in the mail within a few days. Call your local DMV for further questions/answers and follow up conversations.
