If I buy a Ford KA will the insurance be cheap?
I'm doing my driving lessons now and I've done 30 hours. I can drive now, we're just practicing. So, I'm looking for a good first car. I don't want to spend a fortune on a nice car. I just want a decent one to get me from A to B. I have seen a ford KA. Nice little cars. Is the insurance cheap? I'm 25.
My sisters started at around 1300
Now she pays about 700 she's 21 now
As long as u show your a good driver
Now she has the new shaped KA
How would we know? Get some quotes, you are a new driver so it will not be cheap but the Ka is a low group.
On this site insurance prices are via the crystal ball method or a similar idea because no one here knows what YOUR insurance will cost so why not ask a provider of insurance for a quote
Insurance is never cheap for a new driver.
It'll be as cheap as any other small car but the only people who can give you a number are insurance companies.
Ball park £1-3k.
The Ford KA, assuming you're talking basic models, is a "sensible" car so will be cheap to insure.
Anything that has a "sporty" reputation will be more expensive. However, as a 25 year old, you should be better off than a 17 year old - even though you are a new driver, your age ought to count in your favour.
Apparently the KA was the least stolen car in the UK between 2004 and 2011 - according to one insurance comparison website anyway:
- What cheap engine should I put If I have a ford F100? Sometime in the future I will buy F100 pickup put v8 in it( I don't even know what i'm talking ab out ) I'm not an car/engine expert but I found this website http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/crate-engines.html what are the difference between small block circle track engine etc what engine will produce a muscle car sound? You know what I mean will a 350/290 deluxe produce a muscle car sound?
- Where's the best online site to buy a cheap, rebuilt (or low mileage) engine? I'm not looking for a hot rod crate engine, I just need a reputable online source to replace my engine that is no longer usable. 91 ford ranger xlt 2.3L
- What Ford mustang from the 90s - 2005 is the fastest and cheap to buy? I'm just checking prices to fix a 67 mustang but I need to sit a different engine but I want to buy a fast cheap mustang to take it apart and put the engine and transmission on my 67 mustang. Now I'm not really good at cars and don't know much of Ford cars, I'm more a Chevy person like I know little bit of Chevy engines.
- I need insurance for cheap, basically just to be legally driving. Options? I live in California, I will be traveling up north toward Santa Cruz, Humboldt, and eventually Oregon. I just need to state that I do have insurance in case I get pulled over. I'll be driving a van, most likely a stock ford econoline around the 90s.
