Ford KA keeps needing jump starting?

I have a 55 plate Ford KA, I went to turn it on this morning and the battery was flat, got it jump started and drove it round for around 20 mins fine, went to turn it on again and it needed jump starting again, drove it round for a further 2 hours thinking it would sort it, went to turn it on again and it needed jump starting AGAIN. Clearly a car that needs jump starting 3 times in a day has something wrong with it but what could be causing this? Does it need a new battery?

First and cheapest, check your alternator belt

Second get the battery checked, running flat 3 times in a day it probably needs replacing anyway.

While checking the battery ask them to check the alternator is charging.

Most likely needs a new battery. Once it gets started the alternator will push enough charge out through the battery to run the car. So because you were able to drive for a couple of hours means the alternator is fine.
Just a new battery needed.

It could be the battery, or the alternator not working, or something draining the battery, you need to get it checked.

You could have a dead cell in the battery n you will need a new battery also have your alt checked

Hi as most car batteries only last 4 years maximum. The chances are in this case it needs to be replaced as it is not holding a charge.
