Is this issue with my 2001 ford mondeo mk3 1.8 LX the transfer box or the gearbox?
So recently I have been working on a 2001 ford mondeo 1.8 lx and one of the issues it has is only gear 2 and 4 work now is this the transfer box or the gearbox itself?
Hi as the Ford Mondeo is normally a 2 wheel drive car it has no transfer box. The issues is worn dog clutches in the gear box, a common enough fault on a 14 years old car.
- Will a 2000 Ford Windstar lx fuse box diagram be the same as a 2003 Ford Windstar fuse box? I found a link about a 2003 but I need to know if it'll be the same for a 2000. - Oil leak ford mondeo mk3? I have a ford mondeo mk3, over the last few weeks I have had to keep on filling it up with oil. I have to add about a ltr every 100 miles. I can't see a leak and no oil patches and I have no smoke coming out the back. I'm also using alot of coolant i'm guessing cause when the oils low it gets hotter. Any ideas
- How much does a gearbox in a Ford courier weigh? I have a Ford courier 2001 4x4 I need to replace the rear main seal. Just wondering what the gearbox and transfer case would weigh roughly because I need to remove it and need to know if I can lift it out or I need a jack.
- What is in the D1 position in my 2001 Ford Focus Power Distribution Box? I had a mobile mechanic come by a few weeks ago and the idea was that he would replace this part because it was obviously bad. But he never came back, I want to know so I can go buy one myself.
