Is it legal to make have a foreign police car?
I live in the UK so lets say I was able to get hold of a Ford Crown Victoria and make it look like an NYPD car would that be legal or is it still impersonating and officer? It's not something I actually plan on doing I'm just curious
I thinkits illigal, bc if you have the lightbulb thing and you use it. You could get in real trouble for that.
and if some officers see you drive fast, then they would think its weird. But i don't know you could ask the judge in your country and get a permission if so
Yes it is legal but under certain rules. The emergency lights have to be covered when you are on public roads. Any signs saying Police have to be similarly covered.
It is also legal to have a UK old police car under the same rules.
You need to go talk to these people.
