Is ford going to offer proof of her accusations Thursday, if not why bother?
We already know all the people she said were at the party don't know what she is talking about.
She will not show up
A tear from each eye.
Well let's see, she has submitted herself for a polygraph, and wants to testify under oath. Neither Kavenaugh nor Mark Judge are wiling to testify under oath.
Who is more credible?
I honestly don't think she'll show. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that stress, threats or whatever, as the reason for it. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if she opts for an interview, in lieu of testifying, taking a page out of Kavanaugh's playbook.
There are many ways she could go. An emotional crying appeal and pointing fingers but unable to provide any details; or claim she's afraid and need more time… Postpone… On account of she's so frightened.
Should she have to? If you get stabbed, do you have to bring the attacker's knife with you, to prove that you got stabbed, before the cops will take his description? I think you've got it backwards. Reasonable doubt may let kavanaugh escape conviction, but it shouldn't be a free pass to the Supreme Court bench.
Ford doesn't want to testify, but also doesn't want to look like she doesn't want to testify. I think she shows up, but doesn't say anything of substance. It will all be innuendo and circumstantial. Red team and blue team then attempt to use what was said as proof of their pre-determined conclusions.
- When Feinstein can't say everything Ford said was truthful proof truth and the welfare of this country doesn't matter to her? An honorable person would have started this process in July and would have spent time proving the content… Not seeing if it could delay the process when everything else failed miserably.
- Should Ford be studied for her ability to not remember details about her trauma after 13,000 days. But after 6 days with her lawyer? Her memory during her drunken stupor becomes crystal clear? Could Ford's techniques be used with alzheimer's patients, the elderly, and other drunks who experienced "black outs?"
- It's Tuesday. Has Christine Ford started her drive from California to DC yet for Thursday's hearing? She said she won't fly because Kavanaugh caused her so much trauma 36 years ago planes make her feel claustrophobic. Or is she going to be a no show like many expected all along?
- Does being concerned about standards of proof in accusations make you a dumb conservative? I ask it because I'm concerned about that. Also, I'm not a conservative. But if I criticize Blasey Ford I get accused of being a GOP shill or whatever. Why are leftists so arrogant?
