Is a 1966 ford gt40 street legal?

It can be…

It was built as a road car so why not?

I think so

Most were race cars. I saw one at Holmon-Moody around 1968 or so that had been made street legal.

Depending on where you are - what the car actually is (ie standard or modified) it may or may not be registerable in it's current form. Modifications can be made to bring it up to registerable but…
2 examples:- ride height may be too low meaning new wheels & suspension. Modern cars require catalytic converters on the exhaust -WONT fit on a GT40 without expensive bodywork.

  • Is it worth buying a 1966 Ford Mustang? I have an offer to buy a 1966 Ford Mustang in jet black with chrome outlines for 11k. Is it worth it? Will the value increase if its a classic car? How much would insurance cost? It has 88k on the odometer.

That just got sold to the Italians, but talk to them and ask them nicely to stop sending jobs to Mexico, for lower wages and bigger Bonuses, and keep the jobs in America and pay a good living wage to all, even if it hurts them a little? Just sayin… You know… Ask the CEO's to be PATRIOTS for a change? And #MAGA?
