Is it worth buying a 1966 Ford Mustang?

I have an offer to buy a 1966 Ford Mustang in jet black with chrome outlines for 11k. Is it worth it? Will the value increase if its a classic car? How much would insurance cost?

It has 88k on the odometer.

Yes they are going up in value (as long as they haven't been screwed around with too much) however insurance costs and whether or not it's "worth it" completely depends on you and your personal situation

Yes its worth it unless there's something major wrong.

If you don't want it, I can find several dozen guys who will…

Is it a V8? Is it a 4 speed? Is it a fastback? These all effect the price greatly.

  • Is this Ford Mustang worth buying? So I'm looking at a used 2010 mustang coupe automatic 4.0L V-6 cyl with 87,500 miles. It cost $9,000. Do you think it has too many miles? I just want to hear other people's thoughts.
  • Is it worth buying a car if the tie rods need to be replaced? I'm looking into buying a car and someone is selling a 2000 Ford Mustang for only $1000, but it needs the tie rods and muffler replaced. Is it worth buying?
  • How to change your 1966 Ford Mustang inline 6 into a 200ci v6? I want to know how much it would be, what parts I need to get, how to put it together, any answer would help me out thanks
  • Cost of insurance for 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe V8? I'm 16 and i just got my license. I have a job and i was looking for a car. My dad has a 1966 Ford Mustang V8 Coupe that he offered to give me and in mint condition. I was so happy. I was think of paying as much as i can of the insurance. Can you please tell me the price (estimate)? Don't feed me BS saying that shouldn't be your first car and all of that. Thats the only car I'm getting and the only car i want. All i need is the price and if its a good car.
