1966 ford falcon 5.0 conversion?
Does anyone think it would be cool if I redid a 1966 ford falcon outside original inside racing seats upgraded gauges 6 speed and the new mustang engine. Beefed up suspension?
I think you could get a Falcon with the 260 V-8, & the 260 V-8 is just a smaller/older version of the 289, which is just a smaller/older version of the 302/5.0. So factory cross members & engine mounts shouldn't be hard to come by. Now, just to make sure - Ford has two totally different 5.0 V-8's. The current over head cam 5.0 & the early '90's push rod 5.0 V-8. I'm talking about the '90's Fox body push rod V-8.

- Ford ranger, 10 rear drum to disk conversion? How much work would it be too convert my rear drums to disks? I have a 99 ranger v6 4l. My drums are the 10". My where base is the bug one I'm pretty sure like 144" or 141". Where would I buy them? If I buy a kit do I have to always use the kit brand disks?
- 1993 ford ranger locking hub conversion? The 4wd locking hubs are shot. If you put them in the lock position they just pop and grind. I took them off and they are just wore slap smooth out. I can replace them with factory replacement parts, or my question… Can I convert it over to live axle?
- Is it worth buying a 1966 Ford Mustang? I have an offer to buy a 1966 Ford Mustang in jet black with chrome outlines for 11k. Is it worth it? Will the value increase if its a classic car? How much would insurance cost? It has 88k on the odometer.
