Is a 1964 Ford Galaxie a good car?
I'm looking at my first car I'm late as it is and I'm 21 and FINALLY I'm getting a license soon. I was looking for something that will make me feel like I'm the Men in Black is a 1964 Ford Galaxie worth it? A lot of people say I look like Young Agent K with my hair cut and I actually like the style of the car how rare are these cars or can you still get them? Can you get the seats in black leather I find it more classy.
50 year old car, no safety features, bad gas mileage, easy to work on, but parts can be expensive.
Great collector car for an enthusiast with a climate controlled garage and good repair budget.
Not a bad car, but will likely over $5000 just because of the rarity.
I see a lot of them for more like $15,000.

They were nice cars 50 years ago. Today they are unsafe, expensive to maintain and require leaded gas, which you can't even buy anymore. Modern cars are much safer, drive better, and are much more fuel efficient.

The flywheel gear on my 1964 ford fairlane went out and before I drop then engine back in I want to get a new clutch kit in her. It has a 260 v8 4.3l and the casting on the trans says (T86F-1) to the left there's an N and to the right there's the number 8 and right under all that is says W.B. DIV.
