A new radio? You can get a modern one that will fit. I took the AM radio out of our 1960 Fairlane back in the late 1970s when we scrapped it. It's still sitting on the shelf I put it! LOL! That radio (and yours) has tubes, and a "vibrator" power supply. I know how to fix that kind of radio and where to get parts, but I don't think you'd like listening to an old tube type AM radio. Get an AM-FM stereo radio.

  • What oil type should I use on a 68 ford galaxie xl? I went to the auto store to ask but it wouldn't come up on his computer. He suggested 10w-30 so I bought a jug, but I want to double check before I put it in my car.
  • Is a 1964 Ford Galaxie a good car? I'm looking at my first car I'm late as it is and I'm 21 and FINALLY I'm getting a license soon. I was looking for something that will make me feel like I'm the Men in Black is a 1964 Ford Galaxie worth it? A lot of people say I look like Young Agent K with my hair cut and I actually like the style of the car how rare are these cars or can you still get them? Can you get the seats in black leather I find it more classy.
  • If Ford is the best selling brand in the US, then why is Ford stock only selling for: $12.58 today? Since Ford is such a popular brand, you'd think the stocks would be selling for a lot more! It seems like it would be selling for about $5,000 per share. What is affecting Ford to make the stock be so low? In 2007, I remember it was at $11.00/share. It has gone up a little over the past 10 years, but not significantly. Why?
  • I want a '67 Ford Galaxie as a first car? I've always been kind of a tomboy, and love old cars. So anyway, would a 4-door still be as cool as a 2-door? I really prefer the 2-door, since the back windows still roll down. They're really not that expensive either, averaging around $12000. I guess because nobody likes Ford.
