Ireland has vegetable oil powered cars - all with usual names like Ford, Toyota. This ends their oil usage. Can America do the same?

Any diesel can be set up to burn pretty much any kind of fuel. It is no big deal to set up a diesel Mercedes to burn olive oil, etc.
Its biodiesel and has been available in the US for decades.
Diesels aren't as popular in the US as in Europe since gasoline is inexpensive and oil is plentiful with a two century supply.
The US also uses alcohol made from corn.
Ireland does not have vegetable oil powered cars. They have the same cars as the rest of the world. Anyone who believes this hoax has never been to Ireland.
- Why is the new Ford GT being powered by an ecoboost V6? Why not a V8 to continue it's roots? I thought the exclusive 5.8 Trinity would be perfect for this.
- Why can't Ford have the same quality as Toyota does? What are they doing wrong? I have to drive and maintain a Ford for work. Constant wiring, fuel pump relay, gaskets, water pump, and other issues. Many Toyotas are problem free other than maintenance. How does this happen?
- What are some cars or motorcycles with space-themed names? Examples of cars: Chevrolet Nova Mitsubishi Eclipse Ford Galaxie Examples of motorcycles: BSA Sunbeam Royal Enfield Super Meteor Any others you can think of?
- Is it true that all cars pretty much cost the same to fix? I'm 16 and I was talking about cars with my dad. I'm buying my own car. I told him that I just wanted to buy a regular car because high end luxury cars cost too much to repair. He said that pretty much all cars will cost the same to maintain and repair. Would it cost the same to maintain a 2006 BMW as a 2006 Ford? I'm just talking about luxury cars vs regular cars. Not super/sports cars. Could I take a BMW or Mercedes to a local mechanic?
