If you have 3 years bumper to bumper warranty do they cover a rental while they fix your car ford?
If you have 3 years bumper to bumper warranty do they cover a rental while they fix your car ford?
That's a definite "Maybe". The FACTORY warranty that comes with a BRAND NEW car DOES NOT provide a "FREE" rental car. If you purchased an extended warranty from the dealer, it MAY have that coverage. READ the warranty contract that came with your car.
Usually the dealer will loan you something to drive.
It depends on how long they will have to keep your car.
Suggest you read your warranty - I don't happen to have a copy for your car.
READ THE WARRANTY
Probably not. A dealership may provide a courtesy loaner vehicle, but that is at the dealer's discretion.
Extended warranty does cover rental for SOME repairs. However, if the repair is covered by the bumper to bumper warranty, the extended warranty will NOT pay for the rental car. Ford has removed all loaner vehicles from all Ford Dealerships.
- Why do some companies like Ford have a 5year warranty and others like Hyundai have a 10year warranty? Does the company with the longer warranty trust in their product longer? Or they know that the owner will have to do a ton of repairs and without a back up no one would ever buy them?
- How do you determine if your car is under California or Federal emissions if your emissions sticker is gone? I have a 1993 ford taurus 3.8L V6 GL 4dr. Sedan. I need to know if my car is under California or federal emissions. I know you are suppose to have a sticker on your car that tells you but mine was destroyed over time so I really don't know. Is their another way to get this information? How would I find out?
- Will my ford warranty cover these issues with my car? I have a 2013 mustang v6 with performance package. It has a factory 36000 mile warranty. When I accelerate hard the engine has a ticking noise that I believe is from the valves and the acceleration is delayed when going from a stop, as well as very sluggish. I plan on taking it to ford tomorrow but would the warranty cover all this and would I be offered a loaner vehicle if they keep it overnight?
- If you have enough money, can you have a new classic car built? Like can I pay to have ford build me a 1970 Mustang? Lets say I don't want to buy an old car and restore it, I want a 1970 but straight off the factory line. Can you have a car built with the old style frame, engine, trans, etc?
