I have a set of 17 wheels from a 2008 Volvo V50 are they ok to fit on a ford S max 2007?
The wheels are 7"x17" and have the same 5x108 pcd, same 63.4 bore dia, and same offset of 50et. The wheels are fitted ok, I just want to know are there any legal reasons why they can't be fitted?

Hi cheap swaps never work for one reason or another.
All manufactures spend millions on testing there cars… Therefore your S max has been scrutinised in the search for excellence… Every part will have been designed and tested with all the other parts… So the vehicle will have top quality suspension… Brakes… Comfort… Handl… Etc… If a part was fitted that did not receive that kind of testing… The balance etc would be open to question… And therefore your safety… This applies to servicing and the parts that are fitted during that procedure… Please take care…
- 2008 ford ranger 2.3 how do I set timing on the camshafts? I got the engine to tdc by using the alignmental kit with the tdc peg. I just don't know what way the first cam lobe is suppose to face up or down?

Right I have p235/40ZR18 on it. I called the dealership about it and their like oh probably not because it might hit against the brake caliper or and it'll also have to be recalibrated because of smaller tire. Well I feel like it's not going to have to be recalibrated because it's going to be a bigger depth tire.
