Will 16 inch wheels and tires fit on my 2014 ford focus titanium?

The wheels size that i'm wanting to get is 16in with p215/55R16, which is the same tire that fits on the se model of that year. Right I have p235/40ZR18 on it. I called the dealership about it and their like oh probably not because it might hit against the brake caliper or and it'll also have to be recalibrated because of smaller tire. Well I feel like it's not going to have to be recalibrated because it's going to be a bigger depth tire.

Yes, they should fit.

Hi so why not consult with a FORD dealer as to what the off set is the position of the wheel in respect of the calipers and wheel arches.

Well that's the thing. Lol! I did but they was like oh it's probably not going to fit because of the brake calipers. Well to be honest the I think the brake calipers are the same size, only difference is the se model had rear drums and this one has all four disc brakes.

There's only a tenth of an inch difference in diameter tire-wise. Clearing the brake calipers shouldn't be a problem as the SE and Titanium models have the same front brake side. I don't see a problem, though I'm curious as to why one would bother with this swap. Is the replacement cost of the 18 inch tires bothering you or something?
