Get out the tools and go to work on it. Ought to be pretty simple on an old rig like that. It's doubtful you'll mess anything up.

I have a 1996 ford ranger v6 4.0 liter and i was wondering if i need a pulley puller to remove it and/or what other tools will i be needing. It doesn't seem too hard and it's right there so i think i'm capable. I replaced the serpentine belt but now i need to replace both. - Ford ka water pump removal? I've got a 02 plate 1.3 ka and the water pump is stuffed, I'm removed the pump but can't actually get it out with the engine and the chasis been so close together, anyone know how to remove it without having to drop the engine?
