Get a shop manual.
Every engine is different. One wrong torque step or wrong torque pattern and your new head is shot.

The only thing pertaining to safety is to not drop the head on your foot.
Go to the library and look in Chilton's Auto Repair manual to see how it's done- it will be step by step. It is a complicated job that takes a lot of skill and you can mess the car up so bad by doing things wrong that you will need a master mechanic to put it back right.
No offense but I would look for someone who has done it and help you out, IF you don't know how to replace/ install the timing belt/chain chances are you will destroy the engine whe you first start it, unless its a non interference engine.
installing the head is not the kind of job you can do by yourself unless you have seen someone do it in front of you. You could but I would ask for help from some one who knows how to fix that.

- Replaced cylinder heads and head gaskets, but car is still overheating? 97 Ford Taurus, replaced the cylinder head and head gaskets. Car started fine and we let it run for a while before taking it out for a test drive. After about ten minutes the car started to overheat again, coolant came out and steam came from under hood. We also replaced the thermostat. What other possibilities are there?

- How to remove ignition switch Cylinder from 98 ford crown victoria if the ignition cylinder is stuck? I have a 98 crown Victoria. And i used a wrong key by mistake yesterday and now my actual key won't work. I've tried removing the ignition lock cylinder but any video i watch on Youtube tells me to turn the key to replace ignition lock cylinder but i can't do that because its jammed. I've tried jiggling the steering wheel and turning the key but no luck. Pretty sure its the ignition lock cylinder but i can't get the damn thing out without turning the key
