How to claim PPI and bank charges?

I closed an Abbey National account over ten years ago and sure the reason for this was due to bank charges on nearly every transaction that was processed.
I'm also sure I had loans with them too. But I no longer have account details and wondered if I still can claim PPI and bank charges from them? Please can someone advise me on the following:-
1) I may still have outstanding unpaid charges they charged me. Would it be worth trying to claim? I'm a bit scared that if I do they may come back and say well actually I still owe them money.
2) if worth a claim I can't remember all my addresses.
3) How should I do this? Letter template example please.
4) I also had a Ford car credit finance but my car was repossessed due to lack of payments. Worth trying to claim or is that taking the biscuit?
5) Store cards and credit cards but can't remember who and when these were. How would I find out or if I can.
Please don't think the worse of me. I was a young girl at the time earning great money and was offered everything under the sun and at the time seemed like a great deal. Sadly, I was made redundant and everything started to spiral out of control as you can see.
I think thats it, but please advise and suggest as I have never done this before.

If you have been charged for PPI you didn't ask for or didn't even know you had you could be entitled to thousands purely because the bank have charged you for something you didn't know about and therefore they were wrong to do it.
I'm no finance expert, but I don't think store cards and any other credit cards will affect your claim. I think it would be best to contact lawyers from companies dedicated to this service. I recommend visiting www.gladstonebrookes.co.uk/PPI_Claim as they will investigate whether a claim is viable. It is best to visit no win no fee services as well such as www.dfrsolicitors.co.uk/ppi.html.
Don't worry we all get into a pickle with money at times, this might help you out.

NEVER go to a PPI company they will take a quarter of your payment.

You are too late to claim back PPI I believe the cut off point is 6 years.
4. Don't be ridiculous.
Google moneysavingexpert - PPI claims and look at this site. There should be a separate section for bank charges.
