It's a former police car. It's hit or mess with them. Sometimes you buy one and the last you until 1,000,000 miles other times you buy one and it breaks down after 100,000 miles. It depends on how good of care of the police department took care of them. For example, I would never buy an LAPD car (I mean I never buy any former police car but you know just using this as an example) because with the amount of stupid **** that they have to go after here, I just wouldn't risk it. However, if it's a small town police company, they usually take great care of the cars and in that case I'd say go for it. You shouldnt trust the mileage. That vehicle is out of service for a reason. Even if it only has 100k miles, they idle all the time for hours on end. So the actual wear on the engine is a lot more than what you might think just by looking at the mileage. All hit or miss. Remember they are old police cruisers and get the sheet beat out of them. Most are high mileage so you would need to have a mechanic check one out to see if its worth buying

- Whorling/ Swirling noise coming from 2008 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor I have a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It is an EX State Trooper Car. When I drive it, the car makes a whorling/swirling kind of noise, it isn't loud like a wheel baring but you sure can notice the sound. Also it seems like when the two front tires fully rotate, they act like they (or one of them) are going into a small hole.
- Where can I buy a Ford Police Interceptor? I just got my license and I need to buy myself a car. And I don't want to bu anything really fancy or expensive, and I heard the crown victoria interceptor is pretty cheap like 1k or 1.5k for a 2004 model. But were do you buy it from?
- Is there a difference between police interceptor and train.which is on rail years? I know Ford can release a 2016 police interceptor in 2015, but is there a difference between that and trains? a) yes b) no When you answer, can you give me an explanation?
- Can I replace a 1991 5.4l ford expedition engine with a 4.6l ford crown Victoria police interceptor engine? I have a expedition that was ran out of oil so it needs a new engine, we also have a 4.6l police interceptor that runs great. So I'm wondering if it can be done and what other work would also be needed?
