How dark can I tint my car windows?
The cars is a 2005 Ford Five-Hundred Limited. It comes with totally clear windows. I live in NY but, I want it to be 50 state legal. I want it to be kind of like how privacy glass is on SUVs, trucks, and vans.

The two front side windows can't be tinted, windshield can be partially tinted, the rear and rear sides can be darker. If you don't understand the percentage thing, you have no business attempting to tint your windows, because the law is specified in percentages, which the company doing the tinting will have to abide by. Unfortunately, each state and some local jurisdictions have different rules on tinting and you'll have to rely on your tinting company to do it correctly.
The rules for window tints vary from state to state. If you get your car done to meet NY State law, then as long as it carries NY State registration, it will be legal to drive in all 50 states.
- What percent window tint should i get? I have a 2010 Ford fusion SE in tuxedo black. What do think would be the best percent tint to get put on all four Windows and rear windshield? I want one shade all the way around.
- Want new headlights for my car, don't want the blue tint to the lights? I have a 2006 Ford Fusion I want to get new headlights I don't really know the difference between halos HIDs or LEDs or if there even is a difference. I'm looking at replacing the whole headlights not just the bulbs but I notice some newer headlights have the blue tint to them I want to stay away from that.
- My transmission fluid is dark colored and smells burnt? 2010 Ford Fusion Sport The fluid smells burnt and is dark colored. The transmission still shift normally. I'm thinking that the fluid has been in there since dealer. I have found other parts in the vehicle like the air filter that was from dealer. The transmission filter is not serviceable.
- Windows wipers stopped working I have a 53 plate Ford focus cmax and whilst driving in the rain the other day the window wipers just stopped working. So when finally got home I changed the fuse and it kept blowing so on the Monday took it to the mechanic and he had it for a week and a half and they are still not fixed. He has checked the motor, wiring, fuse box and they are all fine. Before he had it you could hear the relay clicking when you flicked the switch but now you don't? Any advise would be very grateful.
