What would a reasonable cost be for a used transmission for a '07 Ford Fusion?
We have already given our mechanic $2000 up front for a used one.
You could get one rebuilt with a year warranty for about 2500 bucks with a nation wide warranty. ATRA.COM for more info
I think $2K is a pretty good price for a used tranny. What's important is that you get a warranty for it. Does that cost include cost of installation? Cost of labor? If so, then it's an even better deal.
You have to expect at least $2,000 for a modern car tranny. Sometimes, you think it'd have been better just to junk the car and get another one, so the $2K would be used on a better car. But $2K compared to $20K is always lots cheaper.
- Is it possible to get a new transmission for an older car, if so, how much would it cost? I'm looking at buying a 2003 Ford Taurus with 85,000 miles on it. No, there are no transmission problems. I'm just thinking that if it were done now, that could add a lot of life onto the vehicle. And it would make sense because my estimate is that a new transmission is less that what this car is worth. The car is 5K.
- What is the reasonable life expectancy of my Ford Mustang? I have a 2006 ford mustang gt convertible. I love it and it is in wonderful condition. I'm at 126k miles and I'm thinking about dropping in a factory style nav system. This will cost me 1000k. This will give me all the modern stuff, back up camera, bluetooth, ect. Should I dump this kind of money in this car? I work in the oil field so buying a car at this moment is out of the question. You think I could take the mileage to 300k?
- Is this a reasonable way to look at the Ford- Kavanaugh controversy (see details)? Just forget about it at this point. Que Sera Sera. Right or wrong, it's out of our hands. If Kavanaugh is confirmed, fine. If not, fine. There's no way we're ever really going to know for sure, or even halfway for sure. The FBI investigation was just too short. Currently, it's still a case of "he said, she said." The bottom line is that there's nothing we can do about it., whether we want Kavanaugh to be confirmed or not.
- Is it reasonable to say in the case of Dr. Ford vs Judge Kavanaugh, only provable Facts will suffice. Since Dr. Ford's story keeps? Changing and since she refuses to participate in normal proceedings, her case is Exceptionally weak and I highly doubt it will stand up to scrutiny. If she continues to refuse to be scrutinized, should her claims be rejected?
