Throttle control/transmission light?
I have a 2006 Ford Fusion. We just changed the valve cover gasket and spark plugs. We started my car and it took a while to start up and doesn't sound right at all. It almost seems like it's going to shut off as I left it running. I have the wrench light and check engine light on now. The wrenk light says throttle control/transmission and says it illuminates when a power train fault has been detected to take it to a dealer as soon as possible. Did we do something wrong when we changed the valve gasket cover and plugs?
Sounds like you bumped a wire or vacuum line. Check to see everything is plugged in and nothing dangling on or near the engine or firewall. If it was fine before, I'm sure it's a simple fix.
Maybe you crossed a couple of plug wires.
- Ford Mustang v6 abs/ traction control light on and brakes are locking up? I was driving yesterday and the abs and traction control light came on so I pulled over and shut off the car, I tried starting it again and the battery was dead. I got the car jumped and drove it about a mile and the brakes just started locking up and the cars lights were flashing, none of my Gage s were working and it said I have no gas when my gas tank was full. It was weird, does anyone maybe have a clue what could be wrong with it?
- What is the difference between a Electronic control module and Engine control module? I recently bought a cheap Ford Focus which was affected in floods… I got the water of the engine and pretty much all the places, all my lights and few other electronic functions work… But my engine doesn't turn on and my HUD is dead, but works on another car… What should i do?
- 2012 Ford Focus 2.0 engine, with code P090C, Clutch B actuator control circuits low, does mean I need a new transmission? The car acceleration during driving is lagging, it's like it does not take off normally, and reverse goes out, until I turn the car off for a while then on again, it responds normally for a short time
- Will I cause any damage if I use my manual fuel cutoff/shutdown as a throttle while I investigate why my actual throttle is stuck at full Had my cav rotary injection pump fixed on a diesel Ford tractor. The throttle is not operating correctly (stays at full throttle), is it going to hurt anything to use my manual fuel cutoff as a throttle while I investigate the issue.
