Would a Mazda 3 hatchback or Ford focus hatchback be more reliable?
I'm looking into good first cars and i want to know which one of these brands and models is more reliable and better in mpg, performance, ect… Thanks
Please go with Mazda, they are so underrated. While the Focus is okay, the Mazda has proved to be more reliable and better performance wise. It looks better and you won't see it on every street corner.
- Is the 2008 mazda 3 reliable / a good car? I just got rid of an 06 ford focus due to reliability issues, it ran me up to $2000 in repairs when I hadn t even owned it for a full year. I don't want a repeat of that so I was wondering if anyone has had experience with mazdas and whether they re the better quality ford cars or if they re more reliable then a focus? I'm possibly buying it.

- Mazda cx5 ( suv crossover ) or normal car ( like a hatchback? I'm turning 18 next year and my parents are gonna buy me a car. Now I wanted a hatchback for a while. Thinking along the lines of a hyundai i20, ford fiesta etc. But I came to look at suv crossovers and decided on the 2014 mazda cx5. And while it sounds childish, the opinions of my friends do matter somewhat, with them saying I shouldnt get a big car right now ( even though it isn't that big). What should I choose?

I'm wondering which is the better car and which will last longer? Also I'm wondering which would be cheaper (on average) for insurance. I have USAA if that helps.
