Why Ford and VW more popular than Toyota or Honda in UK?
Although Toyota Auris and Honda Civic are more reliable than Focus and Golf.

Maybe, but they are both bland to drive and they are not that much more reliable (even if that statement is correct) that it would make a difference.
VW is the WORLD LEADER.
Toyota have had a lot of recalls over the last 2 or 3 years which could indicate that they are living on their past reputation ~ just as VW have for the last 25 years and a modern VW comes about halfway down the list in the annual reliability trials, beaten by all Japanese and Korean cars.
Why are Ford and VW so popular, perhaps the average british driver is more conservative than they realise and better the devil you know etc
- Why are there more 70s and 80s chevy trucks than fords around today? I'm not trying to say ones better just a question did chevy make more than ford or something? I see alot of old chevys driving around my area and some fords but i never see dodges at all maybe one or two every once in a wile

I thought the old KAs where hardly seen now days and I thought the new one would be more popular and more seen on the road the funny thing is I see more of the old KAs than the new ones my dad doesn't like the KAs he calls them the old grannies or a hairdresser car I'm getting a Suzuki swift 5 door in red

My mom was just curious because she's considering buying either car. She was also considering the Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ and she wonders, are there more differences between the Accord and TLX or between the Fusion and MKZ? She was also surprised how the MKZ actually costs more than the TLX, as she told me Japanese cars usually cost more than American ones, or they used to.
- Are ford more reliable than a Nissan maxima or toyota corolla / Camry? Reliable as in less mechanical and lyrical problems and reliable on glass and cheap fix if something goes wrong and less recall
