Impossible to know w/o the necessary info - written maintenance records + having a mechanic do complete inspections of the vehicle systems prior to purchase… W/o having those items, it would be like throwing away the $$$ !

PLYMOUTH RELIANT

Stay away from the Mini and the Chrysler -- too unreliable. For the other two, you need to decide on one and then have a professional mechanic inspect it before you buy. The Lexus should be more reliable, but with 179K miles, any car can have serious problems, even a Lexus.

The Focus as it has fewer miles on it. The Mini Cooper is a performance car with known reliability issues.

The Lexus is about to have major issues. The Sebring has good miles left on it but the Focus is a better deal and will have more life in it.

I have a 2010 Ford Focus with 195k miles lol I know right travel too much but it runs like a champ. 66k miles for 5k I'd do it in a heartbeat

Among all the cars you've listed Focus is the best option. The Focus is a practical, playful companion offering a rare blend of agility and accuracy. 2010 Ford Focus is a great choice, especially if you are prioritizing safety or comfort. A progressive look, more refined handling and additional features make the 2010 Ford Focus an even more appealing choice for drivers seeking a value-oriented American compact. Which one is a good first car and why - 1

Probably the 2010 Ford Focus after you have a mechanic check it out. Mini Coopers have reliability problems. The Lexus is a good car but mileage too high. Chrysler 300 also will have some reliability issues especially after 112k miles.

These are personal preferences. In any case, pay cash or do not buy.

All other things equal (assuming the maintenance has been done), the Focus would be the best buy for a car you could keep through college. The 2.0L SPI engine does have some known issues that could result in a blown engine, so I would have a mechanic go over it carefully before buying.

The Lexus is way overpriced for the mileage, and the Chrysler and the Mini are both probably due for a transmission replacement.

My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street.
