Which car should be my first one out of these?

2006 Hyundai Elantra GLS
2006 Mercury Milan Premier
2004 Toyota Camry LE
2004 Ford Taurus SES
2005 Hyundai Accent GLS

Out of the list I will rank them like this:
1 Toyota Camry
2 Hyundai Elantra
3 Ford Taurus
4 Mercury Milan
5 Hyundai Accent

I rank them like this because generally the Toyota will last many miles particularly the Camry. Hyundai Elantra is also reliable as my neighbor has had his 2001 for 10 years or more and its never broken down. Ford Taurus has mixed reviews. Older ones from the 90's are unreliable but from 2001 and up they are super reliable. I know many people who have had no issues out of theirs and they have had them what seems like forever. Mercury Milan I'm not too sure of its reliability but I know its based on the Ford Fusion. It apparently borrows its engine from the Mazda 6 and has been known to have little reliability issues. As for the Accent its cheap. With cheap come cheap reliability. It will break down, parts will break, it can be costly. My other neighbor bought a new 2006 Hyundai Accent after his old Chevy Caprice (I think huge old car) died. That car was broke down more often than he drove it. He was old and didn't drive much to begin with and the car caused him so much problems.

The one that is in the best condition, as determined by a professional mechanic. Although the Camry has the best chance of being reliable, every car is different and it's condition depends on how it's been driven, how it's been maintained, and whether it's been wrecked. You can't tell by simply looking at it, or even driving it.

I'd recommend the Toyota. The Japanese 'imports' are very reliable and known to be well running way past 100,000 miles.

Chances are the Camry but it would depend on the condition of all of them.
