The Toyota will easily go 300,000 miles without major repair
as long as you keep it serviced. Fords are known for a lot of engineering flaws.
Hard to tell about a current model year. Historically, Toyotas have had a clear edge but Ford has improved a lot. The Focus got most of the problems worked out in 2004.
I'd go with Toyota
I would also have to go with Toyota. The Corolla is the highest-selling vehicle in the history of the automotive industry. The current Corolla offers a sharper, sportier look, quieter cabin, and a wide range of sophisticated technologies that today's small-car shoppers expect. Like that car!
The Focus is such a POS from the assembly line to your driveway that you must have just landed on this planet to not know. Read all this:

- Why do illegal immigrants like to drive Chevrolets, Fords or GMC trucks? Everyone knows that Toyotas last 6 x longer? Except them? Why? btw, anyone noticed this? you don't hardly ever see them driving Toyotas, mostly Chevrolet or GMC trucks
- Toyota corolla 2016 or Use honda Civic? I know they both reliable car but people say buy american cars cause if you buy overseas cars like honda or toyota their parts will be More expensive but i don't want to buy a ford or a chevy cause they are not reliable but most people say if you take care of any car including fords it will be ok
- Looking to get a used car around 2014-2015, Camry, Corolla, or Fusion Hybrid? I had a 2008 camry hybrid but some lady totaled it. Loved that car, but I always thought it was a little too big, although the storage space was great. Now I'm looking to get a new one, I like all three… I don't want another hybrid really, but the Ford Fusion Hybrid looks real nice with better gas mileage than my Camry hybrid did…
- Which one of these cars would generally last longer? Assuming that both cars are very well maintained, which would get the most life out of it? http://westernmass.craigslist.org/cto/5249970227.html or http://westernmass.craigslist.org/cto/5250364940.html I was told that Honda's last a million times longer that Ford's but the mileage gap between the two greatly favors the Focus
