What to say to a lying police officer?

So far this month, i've been stopped and search 9 times from my vehicle.

I do not smoke drugs however to them, my car smells of cannabis always which gives them the rights to search me and my vehicle.

I drive a ford focus 2005 1.6 zetec and the excuses the police officers always use is misuse of drugs and that there was an incident nearby and i more or less fit the match.

this is getting ridiculous. My car never smells of weed and nor do i even smoke it any more. Its been over 2 years since the last time i did and in this vehicle, i have never smoked weed just cigarettes.

I think due to my "appearance", they just tend to search me for absolute no reason.

What can i do to prevent them from searching again? They have no rights, i get questioned and searched if i'm parked up or even driving.

Get your car detailed man and shut it!

Speak to a higher law enforcement agency such as state police about the issue.

If I recall correctly, you do have the right to deny them the ability to search you/your car. I could be wrong about this, though, as I don't recall if that was with or without probable cause.

Just tell them you never did it or get a new ride.

They have the rights to search or even arrest a suspect. So far, by reading, your appearance is the matter that makes you the suspect.

You would do better to remain silent.

You may wish to clean your vehicle thoroughly, and improve your appearance so as not to be mistaken with a vagabond. If the way you dress is indicative of a person who habitually consumes drugs, you can't blame the police for being suspicious of you. It's their job to protect the public from such individuals, and from the sound of things they are doing a good job. Your appearance is your own choice.

Document it on camera, tell them no and then if it continues sue them in court.
