Traction control causing shaking at takeoff?
2012 ford focus titanium, my first new car. I noticed pretty quick it shakes at around 10mph for a second. I take off pretty quick, could it be because traction control? The TC light doesn't come on. Any ideas?
Hi you should deb taking it to a FORD Dealer for some diagnostics as it has a fault.
It's not the traction control, it's bad driving.
What you're experiencing is known as axle tramp or wheel hop.
Ease off the gas.
- Car shaking and rattling? I have a 2000 Ford Taurus, it was driving fine until to day. The car just started shaking rattling, kinda sound ed like a lawn mower. Also seems to lose power at times and has trouble shifting gears. (It's an automatic). Of anyone can help that'd be great. Could it be the transmission it perhaps bad motor mounts?
- Pickup traction: what should I put in the bed for winter? 1992 Ford Ranger. I live in an apartment so firewood is out. Something which will not be stolen. Bags of road salt in waterproof bins? Southern Ohio and winter may be nasty; need weight behind rear axle. Looking for ideas taking up only width of bed but less than 2' front to back since I want to use most of the bed for day to day stuff. Rocks? Quarries around here but want something multi-purpose.

- Ford Mustang v6 abs/ traction control light on and brakes are locking up? I was driving yesterday and the abs and traction control light came on so I pulled over and shut off the car, I tried starting it again and the battery was dead. I got the car jumped and drove it about a mile and the brakes just started locking up and the cars lights were flashing, none of my Gage s were working and it said I have no gas when my gas tank was full. It was weird, does anyone maybe have a clue what could be wrong with it?
