MY MOMS CAR IS TOTALLY BROKEN AND We're STUCK. WHAT's WRONG WITH IT?
So me and my mom went shopping. And right when we were at the stop sign, the car started to shake. Like really hard. It turned off. We tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on. My mom eventually got it to move back a little to a safer area. No one is helping us and people are flipping us off and seriously I'm scared. Everytime she barely touches the ignition the lights on the car flicker a bit. And it made this weird buzzing noise. The radio won't turn off and the screen on it is really hot. Someone jumpstarted us, and said something like all the cells in the battery was dead, and when they plugged in one plug, it got to 7 volts. Have no idea what this means. My mom said she is going to take it somewhere in the morning. It is a 2013 Ford Focus. It has always wabbled and grunted if we left it on a little bit, or like when we stop at a light, it wabbles when we start back up. It said the battery was dead, so we have that figured out, but why on earth everytime we press the ignition with our fingers barely, the radio turns on or the lights flicker? Someone please help!
Now everybody just calm down.
Sounds like she should call AAA.

The batter does sound like it's worn out, but that's not the underlying problem.
Get that replaced first. If you continue to have problems, take it to a mechanic.
Batteries wear out. So do alternators and starters. Most auto parts stores are equipped to test all of the above. In hopes of selling you overpriced parts.
Happened to me a few weeks ago right in auto parts store parking lot. Paid double for their battery because I was a captive customer on foot. (Versus what Walmart, Sams or Costco would have charged for a similar battery) Those stores are ripoffs.
- Is this normal or is my ford ranger fuel gauge stuck/broken? I recently purchased a 2007 ford ranger, and i do not know much of how its fuel gauge works yet. I filled it up for the first time a couple days ago and drove it about 35 miles since, and the fuel gauge still shows full. The gauge shows empty when i turn off the truck and then upon starting it up returns tot he full position like normal. Is this normal for ford rangers, or otherwise what could be wrong? Also what would be the range on a full tank for this type of truck?
- It's possible Blasey-Ford totally believes what she's saying yet Kavanaugh wan nowhere around. But how are the dems doing that? Roy More's? Accuser, Leigh Corfman (all the rest said they only kissed) must have formed her memory after the fact, as well. That was as out of character for him as these outlandish claims are for Kavanaugh. More's big "sin" was being attracted to 17 & 18 year olds. Not tweens. Seriously. Again: How are they getting people to conjure and shape-shift their memories and pull them outta theirAsses just exactly at the most destructive time?
- I have a ford mondeo that had broken down. I called AA and they ran it through their computer and it said fuel sensor problem. I went to a? Garage and they replaced the fuel sensor. I drove up the street and the car broke down again. Plugged it in at the garage and it said fuel sensor fault. The garage then took that fuel sensor out and put it back in the car it was from and it was working. What could be the problem?
- Had my ford transit broken into, door peeled in half, what would people recommend, van alarm or deadlocks and door strengthening? My van door was peeled in Half from top to bottom and cleared of everything inside. I'm thinking of getting an alarm that will go off if van is shaken or movement inside but I think this might be too late and the door damage done. Would I be better off getting visual locks for thief's to see then have my door reinforced inside out by my friend who's a welder.
