Yes you sure do! Where else could it go?
You fill it through the expansion tank. Just keep adding coolant.
If the reservoir has a pressure cap and there's no radiator cap that reservoir is where you fill the cooling system.
It's not an overflow bottle it is part of the circulation system
The coolant bottle cap is a radiator cap. Fill at the coolant bottle.
You can fill it through the top radiator hose before you attach it to the thermostat housing. The overflow bottle needs to be filled to the cold level. Let the engine run for awhile to make sure it does not overheat before driving it. Sometimes air bubbles in a closed system will create an overheating situation.
- Top up of water - CAR - cooling system - anti freeze? I have a low coolant level in my 2004 ford card. i was told i need a top up of antifreeze or just a pure water should do good for the time being. As they say, antifreez is nothing but a mix of water. what is the difference between topping up with pure water and a actual antifree here.
- Just had new heads and gaskets installed on Ford Ranger 4.0, along with thermostat and radiator cap. After reaching operating temp, upper? Radiator hose swells to full capacity as if it can't handle more pressure. After engine cools off, hose returns to normal size. Should this be happening?
- Is it obvious that Coca-cola has paid Christine a lot of money to speak against Kavanaugh? All I've seen the entire hearing is a coke bottle? Going up to Ford's lips… Very suspricious everyone else is only allowed a glass of water, yet Christine has an endless supply of coke
