Is my car save-able? 2002 ford focus?
My car went through a great deal of water that was up to the body of the car. I know water got through the exhaust pipe and the engine sucked up water. My car can still turn on but it stalls when stopped or idle. It sounds like a Diesel engine when ran. My dad took out the spark plugs and there was water in them. I took paper towel and q-tips with pliers and got a good amount of the water out but it's still not dry after 6 hours. When dry is it still worth repairing?
Buy it
If it went swimming in fresh water you might save it… If it was salt water, then corrosion is likely throughout the car, brakes, bodywork etc, etc, etc. I'd part company with it and look forward to a joyous new replacement.
REMOVE THE PLUGS and spin engine OVER with VACANT PLUG HOPI: LES! All water will be DISPELLED! It is NOT from the EXHAUST but from your AIR INTAKE that gets water into things! AFTER YOU SPIN OUT the WATER< the engine will start with the pugs put BACK IN THERE! IF IT DOES NOT< you have BENT RODS, maybe! SORRY PAL! LEt ENGINE PUMP OUT WATER through plug holes first! Clean the plugs and re=-install them or use NEW DENO|SO or BOSCH iridium pugs! BYE NOW!
- Should I drop comprehensive and collision coverage on 2006 Ford Taurus to save money on premium? I own a second car which is a 2006 Ford Taurus. Market value of approx. $2750. It is in good condition, with 63,000 miles. Stays in garage, driven sparingly. Current insurance on it has comprehensive ($124 premium/$250 deductible) and collision ($285 premium/$500 deductible).
- Will a ford taurus car with 3.0L V6 engine be able to interchange with a 3.0L V6 ford ranger? If I purchase a ford taurus for cheap, can I just strip both engines down to long blocks and put the intake, exhaust manifolds, and everything off my ranger over onto the taurus engine, would everything bolt up and work?
- Can I save money by adding hho to my 1990 ford ranger? I always see these water generators online that claim if you add this to your already fuel burning vehicle it would make it more efficient. I love my little ranger but gas is so expensive and I drive long distances. It just doesn't seem like it could actually work or more people would be doing it right? Are the kits hard to put in? Is it worth my time/money? Will I actually save or is this just what they are claiming?
- 2002 Honda Civic or 2002 Ford Mustang as first car? I'm debating on getting a Civic with nearly 30 mpg or a Mustang with nearly 20 mpg, and I also live in Indiana where we get around a foot of snow every year.
