Will a ford taurus car with 3.0L V6 engine be able to interchange with a 3.0L V6 ford ranger?
If I purchase a ford taurus for cheap, can I just strip both engines down to long blocks and put the intake, exhaust manifolds, and everything off my ranger over onto the taurus engine, would everything bolt up and work?
Depends on whether you're talking about two "U" engines or two "S" engines.
Not really. One is for FWD (transversely mounted), and one is for RWD (longitudinaly) mounted applications
- Will a 5r44e interchange with a 4r44e? I have a 99 ford ranger XLT 2WD with a 4r44e and I want to know if a 5r44e will mount to the 6V 3.0L.

Will a 3.0 out of a 1993 Ford Ranger fit and work? My concerns are the 1993 has a distributor and my 1995 does not. Are the water pumps and accessories the same?
- Will I be able to fit a washing machine in the back of a Ford Focus estate? Obviously not stood up, but on its back, front or sides… But wouldn't this damage the drum, or… What exactly? Is there a preferential side to lie it down on. Jeez!
- Is my car save-able? 2002 ford focus? My car went through a great deal of water that was up to the body of the car. I know water got through the exhaust pipe and the engine sucked up water. My car can still turn on but it stalls when stopped or idle. It sounds like a Diesel engine when ran. My dad took out the spark plugs and there was water in them. I took paper towel and q-tips with pliers and got a good amount of the water out but it's still not dry after 6 hours. When dry is it still worth repairing?
