Fit, yes. Properly, no. The wider tread section width tire will definitely fit on your stock Ford rims. But why would you want to do so? The engineers and designers at Ford determined that a 215/50R17 sized tire would give your Focus the best handling, stability and control possible. You need to trust their findings, they know what they are talking about.

Again, why would you want to use a wider than OEM tire? For the look? Bad idea. The wider tread section width tire would not do you any favors whatsoever. If fact the wider tire would decrease your turning and cornering responsiveness and reduce your fuel economy. There would be zero benefit in the use of such sized tire.

Maybe but why would you put the wrong tires on when you can put the right tires on?
