Will 17 rims with (225, 60r17) fit my 2000 Mercury Sable/Ford Taurus?
I obtained a full set of factory rims from a different vehicle, and they DO have the same bolt pattern as my Sable. I'm currently riding on 215 60r16, but want to upgrade to these, if possible. Any ideas, folks?
Yes, 225-60/17 should be fine. Now, before you sink any $$$ into the rubber, try a wheel on your car, just in case. Your front drive car will have a different offset then a rear drive car with the same bolt pattern.
- What 17 ford factory stock rims would fit a 2003 ford taurus? I own a 2003 ford Taurus ses sedan for now. It has the stock 16" ford Taurus rims (5x108 lug pattern). Looking to upsize to a 17" but if I can't find 17" ford factory stock rims i'll just get some that would look similar to the ones already on it (found some already)
- Ford taurus, ford focus, ford escort or mercury cougar? Looking for a new used car, anyone know if any of these are bad cars? They're all in the 2000-2005 range I'm leaning towards the focus cause it gets good mileage and has good storage, also I've heard it does alright in snow. Anyone have any bad experiences with any of these cars or have any bad feedback?
- What size rims can I put to replace my stock rims? I have a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge. Looking to replace the rims, but don't know much about trucks and rims. My tires are p235/70r16.
- Can 225/70R16 tires fit on rims that have 225/70r14 tires on them? I have 225/70r14 tires on my Ford ranger. I just got some 225/70r16 tires of the same brand, Cooper, given to me. Will they fit on the 225/70r14 rims or do I need to get rims to fit the 225/70r16.
